It checks the size first and will say no
A printed page needs 300 dots for every inch. If your picture is too small the tool tells you the exact number of dots to go back and ask for, and it names a smaller page size your picture already prints perfectly at, with one button to switch to it. Stretching a small picture cannot add detail that was never in it.
It forces pure black on pure white
Pictures come out of a generator with soft gray edges. Gray prints muddy and gives a child no clean edge to stop at. Every dot on the finished page is either solid black or plain white.
It leaves room for the spine
In a bound book the inside edge of the page disappears into the binding, and the inside edge swaps sides every page. Pick a bound book and the tool handles the swap for you.
Your artwork never leaves this computer
The whole job runs inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and nobody here ever sees your pages.
The one rule worth more than the tool: get the shape and the size right in the picture tool, before you ever leave it. Everything after that point is repair work, and repair work always costs quality.
